Comments: This is a probably one of my heavier grinds I do on Kitchen knives. It is a flat grind w/ little distal taper ground to a near zero edge for a nice thinness behind the edge. It is ~ 2.45 mm thick at the heel spine. The grind is blended in during hand finishing. The handle is a rounded bottom Wa-style handle that I’ve found to be more comfortable than a traditional Wa handle. Balance point right in front of the bolster. Sharpened on Japanese water stones and ready to work. This is an all around workhorse of a gyuto up to most any task!
